Aluksen virallinen nimi oli Oland vuosina 2003-2013. DNV GL:n mukaan nykyinen virallinen nimi on Öland, kun taas joissakin lähteissä se on Oeland. Alukselle suunniteltiin myös nimeä AMICA, mutta tälläistä nimeä ei aluksella ole koskaan ollut. Official name for this ship was Oland between 2003-2013. In the information of DNV GL official name is now Öland, but in some different sources name is Oeland. They planned to name this vessel to AMICA, but this wasn't ever its name.
